“After a career of teaching science, it is so rewarding to create with fire, metal, stone and chemicals.

Like Mr. Wizard, with goggles and face mask on, a lighted torch in my hand, I’m ready to solder, fuse or just melt some metal. Watching copper and silver react while being forged and heated is mesmerizing.

I am constantly learning and perfecting new ways of shaping silver and copper. And. that’s the challenge, to improve a design, or develop a totally new - for me - look!”
